Roma-post 8

The next place we went was called Roma. There we spent our time in a small apartment near the center of town. We had three nights in this very large city,so we did all of the highlights of the trip. first we went to the Forum, this hold some of the worlds most preserved ruins of the many Roman Emperors that ounce walked on the very spots we were that day. After taking a tour we learned many things about these Roman Forum, and of how the ancient Romans lived. The next day we went to the Vatican museum and took a tour of the great Sistine chapel and the Vatican museum. The may works of art in this museum where quit amazing as each one had a different story. A key person in the making of the Sistine chapel was a young man named Michelangelo as he did an amazing job painting the ceiling of the Sistine chapel. In this chapel it was extremely crowed as we could barly find our tour in the huddled masses. The Trevi fountain was a beautiful site to behold, when we were there I threw a coin behind my back as is tradition. We never got to go to the Colosseum but we marveled at the outside of this masterpiece. Next time I find myself in Roma, I will deffinently try to got to the Colosseum.
